Weicheng International Holdings shares soar 26% to face full buyout offer

Weicheng international holdings shares rose sharply in early trading today, up 26 per cent, offering HK $6.30 on a turnover of HK $1.5249 million.

The company and BeamingEliteHoldingsLimited announced that they had completed the share acquisition on March 28, involving 74.038 million shares, accounting for about 54.66% of the company's total share capital, with a transaction value of HK $62.8 million.

After the completion of the acquisition, the proportion of shares held by the offeror and its actors reached 55.40%, triggering a mandatory unconditional cash offer. The offer price per share is HK $0.8483, a discount of about 83.03 per cent to the closing price on March 27th.
