Gelonghui May 6| Dr. Cyrus de la Rubia, chief economist at Commerzbank Hamburg, commented on the euro zone PMI: The data looks good. Service providers have expanded their activities for the third consecutive monthsolcryptogame, ended the lack of vitality observed in the second half of last year. Encouragingly, job growth accelerated, in line with growth in new business and growth in order volume, the strongest growth in 11 months. These trends point to growing optimism among service providers, further reinforced by business expectations, which are currently well above the average of the past two years. The PMI index, which measures operating costs in the service industry, mainly including unit labor costs, has continued to rise rapidly over the past 12 months. The European Central Bank recognizes this trend and may be cautious about the extent to which interest rates are cut.
